About Dr. Niblock
Trevor G. E. Niblock, (Ph.D), is co-founder of Magzor and leading Magzor’s Research & Development. Dr. Niblock has been developing devices and manufacturing technologies for mechatronic systems for nearly two decades, he has a background in Micro Electro Mechanically System with expertise in magnetics and fabrication. Dr. Niblock has a background in R & D and moving conceptual mechatronic system design from the laboratory to the market place. Dr. Niblock has worked in a number of roles at government institutions, in large blue chip technology companies and in start-up companies.
At Magzor, Dr. Niblock has developed electromagnetic deposition systems, electromagnetic actuators, CADCAM systems for mechatronic design and robotic interface and control systems.
Dr. Niblock received his Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering specializing in semiconductor manufacture at the University of Hull in the United Kingdom, after working on hexapod designs for Philips and a start-up in the south of England, Trevor read for a Master of Science in Semiconductor Materials at Sheffield University. He continued to earn his Ph.D in MEMS at Southampton University where he designed and build micro-scanning probe microscopes. Dr. Niblock has over 20 years of experience in the MEMS and mechatronics engineering. He is the author of numerous publications and holds multiple industry patents.
